JP Reiling - Director of Pitching / Recruiting Coordinator
JP was a four year pitcher at Salem State University. After his playing career finished at Salem State, JP served as the Varsity pitching coach in 2020 for his alma mater Bishop Fenwick High School who went on to win the Division 3 North Finals. JP now serves as the Varsity pitching coach for Saugus High School and coaches Peabody Senior Legion as well. JP is a great pitching resource for all Extra Innings teams as he attends many of the EI games and practices all season long. He is also available for pitching lessons in which he works with all ages of pitchers from little leaguers to college players. JP has assisted many of the local Northshore player over the year with coaching in High School, Legion and working with Sportrecruits for Clubs.
Mike Moroney - Head Coach
Mike was an All-Star pitcher at Salem State College and currently plays in the NSBL. He serves as the lead pitching instructor at Extra Innings and is an expert on the fundamentals of pitching and throwing. Mike is also the Director of the Pro Shop at Extra Innings and is available for private pitching lessons at Extra Innings Middleton.
Bobby Celantano - Head Coach
Bobby coached at Salem State 2015-2016 as the hitting and outfielders coach, as the team finished atop the MASCAC conference winning
the league championship and advanced to the NCAA Regional Tournament. Played at Salem State from 05' to 08', elected team caption
as a Junior, was a 3-Time All Conference player, and is 2nd all time in hits for Salem State. During the 2006 season finished top
20 in the nation with a .433 batting average on a team that finished 34-6, was named a Regional All-American, and selected as the
shortstop for NCAA New Region Tournament Team. Graduated from Peabody High School in 2003, and has also coached at Matignon, The
Legends, and The Show baseball programs.
Roberto Valdez - Head Coach
Roberto has twenty-two years of coaching experience with both the Seattle Mariners and Milwaukee Brewers organizations. Roberto has coached several Major League All-Stars including David Ortiz, Jose Reyes, Nelson Cruz, Carlos Gomez, and Rafael Soriano. He is a member of the American Baseball Coaches Association, National Baseball Coaches Association, and National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics. As a player, Roberto had a very successful professional playing career as an outfielder with the Seattle Mariners.
Robert Aziz - Head Coach
Played and coached at Umass Lowell Captain 1990 – 1994, played for the Nashua Hawks 1995. Director of baseball for New England Firebirds
baseball program 2000 -2012. Owner of Ripp city Hitting Development program.
Dan Lynch - Head Coach
Dan Lynch joined us late in 2019 and quickly established himself among our stellar group of professional instructors. Known as "Lynchie"
around the facility Dan comes from Danvers, MA where he played 3 years of Varsity Baseball sophomore through senior seasons. Dan
is available for hitting and fielding lessons at Extra Innings Middleton.
Charles Cassaro - Head Coach
Charles played baseball at St Domenic Savio High School and is the current President of East Boston Little League, a position he has held since 2011. Coach Cassaro has experience of 13 years as a Coach for East Boston Little League, 3 years as a Coach of Team Boston AAU baseball 11-13u, 1 year as a Coach for The Base baseball HS/18u, and 3 years as a Coach for Lou Tompkins Baseball 15-18u. We are very excited to have Coach Cassaro as a member of our team.
Roberto Reyes - Head Coach
Coach Reyes was a 3-year starting catcher at Lynn English. Roberto was an undrafted free agent out of Lynn English in 2010 to the Boston Red Sox organization. He has coached and trained many of the local High School players on the North shore and has also Coached professionally in the Dominican Republic.
Bob O'Neil - Head Coach
Coach O’Neil has over 20 years of coaching experience from T-Ball through Senior Babe Ruth. Bob has coached T-Ball, Coach Pitch, Minors, Majors, Bay States, Jimmy Fund, and Fall Ball and prides himself on insuring players have an enjoyable and successful experience. Coach O’Neill also has experience in team general management and league administration, having successful created several new baseball leagues in Wakefield and Melrose. Bob has several coaching accomplishments including undefeated seasons, playoff victories, and tournament championships.
