Play Fastpitch Softball with Extra Innings. Our Fastpitch Teams are looking for players for the 2025-2026 season.

Extra Innings Fastpitch Players will receive:

  • 10u, 12u, 14u, 18/16u Teams
  • 5 tournaments in May, June and July.
  • Uniform, team helmet, team backpack, and hat all included.
  • Our teams have 2 practices per week Jan – March.
  • Extra Innings Discounts on Lessons and Tunnel rentals, 10% pro shop discounts, and unlimited use of fitness room.

Steve Pilcher
Head Coach – 16U Extra Innings Fastpitch

Steve Pilcher leads the Extra Innings Fastpitch program, which was founded in 2021. A former head coach at Nichols College and the founder of the Show Softball Academy, Pilcher brings decades of experience in player development and competitive coaching to the program.

A standout baseball player at Peabody Veterans Memorial High School, Pilcher went on to compete at North Shore Community College. After an injury ended his collegiate baseball career, he transitioned to competitive men’s softball, where he quickly rose to national prominence.

In 2011, Pilcher’s men’s team finished second out of 188 teams at the Men’s World Series of Softball, earning him All-World Tournament Team honors. He matched that achievement the following year with a different team, again securing a runner-up finish at Disney’s Wide World of Sports Complex and a second consecutive All-World selection. Pilcher is also a two-time Northeast Region All-Tournament Team honoree and a Massachusetts State Tournament MVP.

His extensive background as both an elite player and accomplished coach continues to make a lasting impact on the athletes, he mentors. At Extra Innings, Pilcher is committed to building high-performing teams while helping players grow on and off the field.
